I have not posted pictures for a really long long time! Congratulations to Becky for making it out of the convention and making it to a primary. For those of you who don't know...you have to get 40% of the votes and mom got 40.38. Good job! Also, I got my haircut yesterday. I cut off twelve inches. My hair is really short! That's all for now. I'll post pictures from Sarah's graduation later.

Last Dance
Sarah recently had her very last High School dance. She went with her "friend" (that's for you Grandpa) Will Burton. Thanks to the help of Grandma, Sarah's dress was finished and beautiful in time for the date to come get her. There were no silly jokes about shoes with this dance but Sarah looked very beautiful. Can you believe that this was her last dance!!!!!!!!!

Family Triathletes!
This weekend, Gary, Camille, Ethan, and the Huish clan went down to St. George to participate in the St. George Triathlon. You have to bike, Run and swim. Here are some pictures that were posted on the Triathlon's website. Sorry, they may be small because I got them off of the internet. Doesn't Beata look like a winner!

Yesterday was Sarah's Sweethearts dance at her school. This time, she helped quite a bit with the dress. She took a boy named Michael Hughes. The look we were going for was 60's slash 50's dress. It turned out to be super cute. On Saturday, mom and dad went to Nordstroms to look for some shoes. The pair Sarah wanted weren't there but my mom and dad decided to play a little joke. When they came home, they explained to her that the shoes she wanted didn't come in her size and so she would have to wear the ones they bought her. The shoes were hot pink patent shoes with a peep toe and they were super cute... the only downfall being that they had a 3 inch heel. Sarah's reply was "I don't want to wear high heels". My parents went along with this for about 5 minutes and then my mom said "OR, you could wear these shoes." It was so funny. The minute she saw the other box, she became a lot more relaxed.

Suzuki Graduation
Yesterday was the annual Suzuki Graduation. Beata was playing in the performance for her first time, performing the twinkles. She didn't make any mistakes and she was so cute with her hair all curled. Rin graduated from Level 5, La Folia. That piece is super hard and difficult and so Rin gets extra brownie points! She looked really cute, too, wearing a brand new shrug and skirt she got for the upcoming valentines day dance at her school. I graduated from Mozart Rondo. My mom told me to really perform, so I tried to. I was trying really hard to stand up straight. This was my very last graduation. Beata still has a long way to go though. We had a really fun time.
Jr. Prom #2!
Just a few days ago, Sarah went to Jr. Prom with a friend of hers, Seth Cope. Her dress was purple, as you can see, and it was very puffy on the skirt. Her hair was round brushed in and she looked really cute. There was no day activity this time but for dinner, they ate at Buco de Beco (or something that sounds like that). Their dance was held at the tower in Rice Eccles Stadium. It sounded like she had a ton of fun.
